Requirements

  • Strong understanding of specialty pharmaceuticals or specialty pharmacy.
  • Ability to self-manage a territory, hitting targeting/frequency goals to grow revenue and Rx count.
  • 7+ years of professional sales experience is required of external candidates.
  • Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Ability to travel as noted in the position summary and as business needs require.

Responsibilities

  • Selling CVS/specialty pharmacy services to key targeted physicians, medical clinics, hospitals, and academic institutions.
  • Developing strong relationships with decision makers at the referral sources.
  • Identifying the needs of providers and positioning CVS Specialty Pharmacy differentiators to support them and the patients.
  • Developing and executing a sales strategy to ensure open market growth.
  • Measuring success through percent to sales goal metrics, Internal KPIs, and internal and external client satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or specialty pharmacy sales is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of specialty pharmacy services and offerings and understanding of medical vs. pharmacy billing for home infused products.
  • Experience with Salesforce (CRM), Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience coordinating various stakeholder interest to grow territory revenue and prescription referrals.
