Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 10+ years relevant experience
  • Strong quantitative / analyst skillset
  • Technology/Systems knowledge of treasury management systems (QRM, Axiom, etc.)
  • Advanced analytical tools (SQL, SAS, Excel, BI tools, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Treasury data structures (e.g., balance sheet and forecasts, cash flow output, capital and liquidity reporting, risk models, etc.)
  • Regulatory reporting constructs
  • Communication and business writing skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and leads a large and/or highly complex, and diverse business management function for an area of significant risk, complexity or scope
  • Strategic partner to leadership team on the management of the portfolio and financials
  • Facilitates key strategic discussions and provide thought leadership to executive audience
  • Sets operational team direction and collaborate with others to execute on common goals
  • Develops, communicates and implements a holistic strategy for own specific business management function in support of and integrated with the overall business strategy
  • Leads the team in the development and/or integrated implementation of policies / processes / procedures / changes across multiple functional areas
  • Acts as a strategic partner by leading relationships with key enterprise partners
  • Ensures an integrated and aggregated view of all related activities across the overall function providing escalations, recommendations, and decision support to leadership
  • Forecasts programs / initiatives and demand, and coordinate prioritization of the portfolio/ initiatives with key stakeholders
  • Provides functional / business level communications to ensure messages to stakeholders and/or employees are consistent, appropriate and aligned to business strategies and executive management direction

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years in banking, professional services/consulting, or bank supervision
  • Strong quantitative / analyst skillset
  • Technology/Systems knowledge of treasury management systems (QRM, Axiom, etc.)
  • Advanced analytical tools (SQL, SAS, Excel, BI tools, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Treasury data structures
  • Detailed knowledge of key banking regulations: CCAR, Dodd-Frank Act Stress Testing (DFAST), DFA 165(d), Reg YY (EPS and its Tailored Applications), Reg WW (LCR/NSFR), Basel III/IV
  • Product and financial instrument knowledge: Knowledge of bonds, equities, repos, and securitization products
  • Strategic Project Leadership: Proven track record of leading large, complex projects
  • Background in one or more related functions: Finance / Business Finance, FP&A, Liquidity Risk Management, Asset-Liability Management (ALM), Capital Planning, Funds Transfer Pricing, Recovery and Resolution Planning, CIO function
