Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales
  • Proven track record of closing complex deals and selling into complex organizations to senior executives
  • Solid grasp of the rapidly evolving generative AI landscape and core concepts, as well as general knowledge about related technical topics
  • Willingness and ability to travel (up to 50% of the time)
  • Low ego and willingness to engage in outbound prospecting and lead generation activities hands-on
  • Ability to quickly learn, pitch, and demonstrate a highly technical product in a fast-paced and evolving market
  • Strong listening skills, with the ability to articulate customer feedback effectively and collaborate with the Product team.

Responsibilities

  • Close Deals: Effectively manage and execute efficient sales cycles, from initial contact to deal closure, demonstrating a deep understanding of our product's technical aspects and value proposition.
  • Design and run POCs: In partnership with our CS team, deliver strong trial and/or Proof of Concept (PoC) demonstrations to increase our customer conversion rate and showcase the benefits of the Yurts platform.
  • Pipeline Generation: Generate qualified leads through attending events, outbound, and tapping your network. We are an early stage company, so you will be expected to source some of your own deals.
  • Shape Culture: As a senior member of the team, you'll have the opportunity to share your experience and support the growth of other AEs, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing sales culture.
  • Understand the End Use: Tailoring your pitch to each industry and persona we serve will be necessary. You will need to use your past experience (ideally selling to one or more of these industries) to dive deep into their pain points and help tailor your pitch.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in selling AI solutions
  • 4+ years of selling to Defense, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or similar security-conscious industries.
