Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Engineering (any) or a related field
- Three (3) years of related work experience
- Experience in troubleshooting medical device/diagnostic instruments or components
- Experience in a customer interfacing role
- Experience with diagnostic techniques and hardware software problems in optical systems and fluid
- Experience utilizing tools and test equipment such as digital volt meters and oscilloscopes
- Experience operating power drills, power screw drivers, and powered saws
- Experience leveraging MS Office software (Word and Excel) to complete service documentation
- Experience interfacing with multiple departments and supporting customers
Responsibilities
- Install service instrumentation according to ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Maintain accurate inventory of tools, test equipment, and technical data
- Complete service documentation in compliance with GMP requirements
- Report quality control and technical issues to the Service Center and management
- Maintain a professional appearance and promote good customer relations
- Coach, mentor, and develop engineers that are new to technical and customer service
- Manage company resources and maintain expense levels within the established guidelines
