Requirements
- Familiarity and experience in the administration of youth-related operations in parks, recreation, tourism, or related fields for 1-2 years.
- Computer and technology proficiency (Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to project manage a high-volume of tactical programs and prioritize time sensitive information.
- Self-starter who is solution focused and takes initiative to problem solve.
- Ability to work independently and with others in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Possess strong written and verbal communications, plus excellent listening skills and superior professionalism.
- Develop partnerships to foster a collaborative working environment.
- Flexibility in work schedule, including occasional travel, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Review, update, and maintain accurate records and documentation including, Location Operating Guidelines, Training Guides, and Daily Checklists for the Youth Activities department.
- Run reports and provide analysis of operational performance data and metrics, identifying trends, and providing basic insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Serve as point of contact for shipboard Youth Activities Leadership teams for basic operational inquiries and updates.
- Assist Leaders with any ad-hoc tasks and projects related to Youth Activities Operations.
- Support the shoreside and onboard, Youth Activities Operations Leaders in succession planning tracking and documentation.
- Partner with Youth Activities Leaders to support the scheduling and rotations for positions within the department, as applicable.
- Participate in regular meetings and provide updates on project statuses.
- Administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, creating PowerPoint presentations, taking meeting notes, tracking follow-up to completion, coordinating expense reports, compiling and entering data into systems, and other related responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Disney Cruise Line Youth Activities and/or shipboard operations.
