Xray Imaging Supervisor

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of a Diagnostic Imaging accredited program or equivalent
• Certificate or Registry of Diagnostic Imaging accredited program
• Advanced training in vascular and Image reconstruction
• Florida State Licensure; Certified Radiologic Technologist in Cat Scan
• American Heart Association BLS, for Health Care Provider
• Minimum of 3 years of lead/management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform management duties including leading direct reports under the direction of imaging leadership
• Develop schedules for the team
• Maintain productivity and expedite patient flow
• Perform procedures as needed
• Oversee quality and ordering of supplies
• Manage human resources duties such as recruitment, competencies, evaluations, and professional development
• Supervise a team in excess of five full-time team members
• Manage clinical quality assurance and safety programs in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Maintain inventory levels and assure sufficient quantities of supplies are on hand at all times
• Work with Operations Managers to ensure maintenance of ACR and all regulatory requirements
• Effectively use and role model current leadership techniques and theories
• Ensure that information disseminated to staff is monitored for effectiveness and changed as needed
• Understand and enforce hospital and personnel policies and procedures
• Serve on hospital and Patient Care Services committees, teams, and work groups as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned
