Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of Comcast products and services
• Expert knowledge of selling reflective of relevant experience
• Effective communication, organizational, and people skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong technical capability (computer knowledge, billing system, databases)
• Ability to walk and/or travel door-to-door for considerable distances in all types of weather conditions
• Must meet physical requirements of the job
• Obtain and maintain any necessary credentials and/or licenses to sell and/or design alarm systems as required by law

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Comcast products and services to individual customers
• Communicate and develop rapport with customers
• Evaluate individual customers’ existing and potential product needs and make recommendations
• Increase customer understanding of Comcast products and pricing models
• Create and execute turf management plans
• Meet and exceed sales goals as established by local market
• Generate business through established and approved methods of lead generation
• Implement effective sales closing techniques
• Demonstrate a consistent record of success in residential canvassing sales environment
• Illustrate strong technical capability
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
• Attend regularly and punctually, including nights and weekends as necessary
