Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- CFA/MBA preferred but not required
- Fundamental underwriting skillset and market relative value understanding
- Ideally 4+ years of credit/event-driven research experience
- Proficient with in-depth financial modeling
- Eagerness to evaluate both public and private issuers
- Team oriented
Responsibilities
- Focus on the corporate credit and event opportunities within the Working Capital Finance team
- Work with PM to underwrite credits and originate trade ideas
- Communicate with syndicate desks, servicers, brokers, street analysts, and companies proactively to generate new trade opportunities
- Underwrite and analyze the capital structure for public and private issuers and work with PM to put on trades with compelling risk/reward features
- Cover and monitor portfolio positions
