Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in workers’ comp and leave administration
- Solid knowledge of California leave laws, FMLA, ADA, and FEHA
- High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Professional, compassionate communication style
- Experience with HRIS and leave tracking systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Kronos)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage workers’ compensation claims from intake through closure
- Administer FMLA, California Family Rights Act (CFRA), Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL), and Paid Family Leave (PFL)
- Oversee the ADA/FEHA interactive process, including medical review, documentation, and reasonable accommodations
- Serve as the main point of contact for employees needing leave or workplace modifications
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, labor codes, and company policies
- Maintain clear, timely communication with TPAs, managers, and internal stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Certifications like CPDM, CLMS, or PHR are a plus
