Requirements
- Functional experience implementing Workday FIN modules.
- Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards)
- Knowledge of Workday development tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, BIRT)
- Experience with designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions for complex integrations
- Experience with developing systems that are scalable, resilient, and highly available
- Advanced understanding of monitoring concepts and tooling
- Experience architecting and designing new and current systems
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication)
- Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Responsibilities
- Hands on implementation of Workday Financials modules (e.g., Suppliers, Procurement, AP).
- Plan, manage, and execute Workday Financials projects, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (finance teams, IT, and leadership) to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
- Own the complete solution across its entire lifecycle.
- Influence and build product vision with business stakeholders, team members and other engineering teams to solve complex problems.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle.
- Lead in design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the team.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, clear documentation, and problem resolution.
- Build product definition and leverage your technical expertise to drive towards the right solution.
- Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with, and learning recent technologies, participating in internal and external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community.
- Mentor other engineers.
- Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional software development experience within Workday Ecosystem (Workday Financials)
- 3+ years of experience with architecture and design
- 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
