Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 or more years of experience in Workday security administration.
  • 5 or more years in related technical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and governance of Workday security across modules including A/P, A/R and General Ledger.
  • Define and enforce security governance aligned with data privacy and security best practices.
  • Configure and maintain security groups (role-based, user-based, segmented, intersection, aggregation, and organization-based).
  • Manage domain and business process security policies, dashboards, and reports.
  • Support Workday releases and enablement of new features.
  • Partner with Finance product teams to develop and maintain security configurations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user access issues.
  • Respond to audit requests and security-related inquiries.
  • Provide security design recommendations to business partners and senior leadership.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiencies and improved security design.
  • Conduct regular audits of the Workday security environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday Security Pro certified is ideal
  • Workday Financials certification is nice to have
  • Strong knowledge of Workday financials such as expense management, cost allocations, Accounting, GL and segregation of duties
  • Hands-on experience with Workday security configuration (domains, business process security, security groups, authentication policies).
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Business Process design.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced Workday report writing.
  • Agile mindset with a focus on delivering continuous value.
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
