Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in WiFi/Networking, AI, Embedded Application test, automation, or Software Engineering.
- Proven experience in developing and testing WiFi Functional and Performance test.
Responsibilities
- Prioritizing WiFi system performance validation: Perform WiFi system performance validation to ensure optimal network performance, including testing and debugging throughput, latency, and packet loss.
- Analyzing new features and developing test plans: Analyze new features and develop/test plans to ensure thorough testing of WiFi new features, AI SDK, AI/ML inference, and applications running on routers.
- Managing infrastructure and test topologies: Manage infrastructure, develop test topologies, and prepare use cases for validation to ensure efficient testing.
- Supporting end-to-end releases: Work with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end releases, ensuring seamless integration of testing plans and validation.
- Conducting log analysis: Conduct log analysis with team members to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Networking and sharing information: Network with colleagues within the domain to gain insights, ideas, and connections, and share information with peers and junior engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or others relevant to the role.
- Familiarity with embedded platforms, including access points, routers, and other networking devices.
- Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, including software, systems, and hardware engineers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues related to AI/ML and Apps running on access points.
- In-depth understanding of WiFi and wireless communication technologies, including 802.11ax, 11be and other emerging standards.
- Familiarity with WiFi chipsets and firmware, including Qualcomm’s Snapdragon and QCA chipsets.
