Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- 4 Year Collegiate Technical degree preferred
- 2 years of college with a math/science focus preferred
- 3 or more years of Oilfield Surface Production preferred
- 2+ years of producing well surveillance/optimization
- Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent interpretation knowledge of production plots
- Interpretation of Dynamometer cards and ESP pump curves
- Well volume calculations
- General knowledge of regulatory compliance
- Strong mathematical skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel and Power Points skills
- Knowledge of EVIN, Graphworx, OFM
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet the objectives of the job and the team
Responsibilities
- Provide surveillance and optimization for producing well (beam, ESP, flow/plunger) performance
- Responsible for day-to-day well operations
- Identify/work producing well exceptions RT/cycle deviations (zero/very high cycles)
- Shut in and start wells
- Hot watering, chemical treatments, rigless jobs, etc.
- Coordinate well failure activities
- Identify, validate, and react to well failures
- Communicate with PFA on well issues as appropriate
- Execute displacement changes (SL, SPM)
- Operate and coordinate maintenance of POCs
- Resolve well and hardware alarms
- Responsible for accurate and timely well tests and downtime
- Validate tests & troubleshoot variances
- Coordinate resolution of problems with PFAs
- Identify Production Opportunities via well variances
- Participate in operational planning meetings; provide input during well and pattern reviews; attend integrated solutions meetings; interact with engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 Year Collegiate Technical degree preferred
- 2 years of college with a math/science focus preferred
- 3 or more years of Oilfield Surface Production preferred
- 2+ years of producing well surveillance/optimization
