Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in website management, SEO, and digital optimization.
- Hands-on experience with website CMS platforms (WordPress, Hubspot, Contentful, or similar).
- Strong technical SEO knowledge, including site architecture, schema markup, and structured data implementation.
- Experience managing Google Business Profiles, local citations, and multi-location SEO strategies.
- Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for minor site adjustments and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), tag management (Google Tag Manager), and heat mapping tools (Hotjar, Crazy Egg, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day website updates, content uploads, and technical improvements across AmeriVet’s corporate site and individual clinic websites.
- Ensure website structure, navigation, and content align with UX/UI best practices to drive engagement and conversions.
- Work with developers, designers, and content teams to optimize page load speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall site performance.
- Track and resolve website issues such as broken links, 404 errors, and site indexing problems.
- Implement A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to enhance user engagement and lead generation.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for organic growth.
- Optimize on-page SEO elements, including meta titles, descriptions, header tags, and internal linking strategies.
- Manage local SEO efforts, including Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization, citation building, and local directory management for all AmeriVet clinics.
- Work with content teams to ensure all website content is optimized for search engines while maintaining a strong user experience.
- Monitor and improve backlink profiles, working with partners and agencies to build high-quality inbound links.
- Stay up to date with Google algorithm updates and SEO trends, adapting strategies as needed.
- Track and analyze SEO performance, organic traffic trends, and conversion rates using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools (SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs).
- Create monthly reports on website and SEO performance, providing actionable insights to improve rankings and site engagement.
- Develop and maintain SEO dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report findings to the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in multi-location businesses, franchise marketing, or healthcare-related industries is a plus.
