Requirements
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in communication
- Relevant work experience of five or more years may be substituted for an advanced degree
- Strong teaching experience in the topic area
- Knowledge of and experience in digital media
- Must reside in one of the specified states (Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Wisconsin)
Responsibilities
- Develop the course and syllabus in collaboration with the academic director from the date of hire through August 28
- Teach the course in the fall semester from August 28 through December 12, 2025
Preferred Qualifications
- Evidence of strong teaching experience in the topic area is desired
- Knowledge of and experience in digital media is welcome
