Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar is required
- 1+ years of experience in project scheduling
- 2 – 4 years’ total experience in the construction industry
- Proficient using Primavera P6 software developing and managing schedules
- Proficiency in critical path methodology to ensure, and communicate, timely delivery of milestone tasks
- Ability to create and prepare logical Work Breakdown Structure using WBS and activity codes in P6 to effectively build, optimize, and track the plan in P6
Responsibilities
- Provide training for planning/scheduling practices and P6 software support
- Support the development & approval of the baseline schedule
- Assist the project team to identify risks and opportunities during the initial planning and execution of the project
- Support the project team with the monthly update process – update actuals, update plan, and narrative
- Review & provide analysis & comments on schedule quality, best practices, and compliance per the contract
- Consolidate and report on schedule data for operations management review
- Assist project team with delay or claim management in the schedule (Time Impact Analysis)
- Create presentations using graphs, diagrams, and other exhibits to illustrate status using Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
- Assist estimating and operations with the development of bid schedules
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Deltek Acumen Fuse a plus
- Federal Project Experience is a plus
- DOT Project Experience is a plus
- Experience in construction performing task as a Construction Project Engineer – managing quantity, cost and schedule control is a plus (tracking quantities, reviewing cost reports, forecast, schedule updates, etc.)
