Requirements
- Bachelors of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or a closely related engineering discipline)
- Knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, and practices related to water/wastewater/stormwater
- Familiarity or experience with AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Evaluating, planning, and designing projects related to water/wastewater/stormwater treatment and conveyance
- Performing site visits, water sampling, analyzing water quality, evaluating technologies, troubleshooting processes, and optimizing plant operations
- Supporting Asset Management projects by utilizing data analytics to perform operational and organizational assessments
- Conducting condition assessments and evaluating the overall performance of water/wastewater/stormwater facilities
- Preparing reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials, and participating in client meetings
- Ensuring project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality, health and safety standards
- Learning, designing, and managing databases, SQL server, cloud-based computing services, and configuration of interactive dashboards
- Working independently and as part of a team, accommodating collaboration with team members across the U.S. and internationally
- Learning and using digital tools to enhance customer experience, team and client collaboration, and project delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior work/internship experience at a design or consulting engineering firm or municipal work environment
- Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and/or Revit
- EIT certification
