Waste Reduction Manager

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Education, Communications, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental education, community outreach, or program management
Strong understanding of recycling practices, waste management policies, and sustainability issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
Proven ability to develop educational materials and deliver effective presentations
Strong organizational and project management skills

Collaborate with city and county officials to align municipal goals and services.
Assist in planning and executing community projects and events.
Develop and implement strategies to improve public communication and citizen engagement.
Serve as a liaison between municipal agencies and the community to promote collaborative efforts.
Guide and motivate team members to achieve their goals and excel in their roles.
Develop strategic plans to meet organizational objectives and oversee their implementation.
Recruit, train, and develop staff while managing performance through regular feedback and evaluations.
Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments to ensure alignment with the organization’s vision and goals.
