Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria includes, but not limited to: 3-year check for felony convictions, 1-year check for illegal drug use, 1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud
- BS degree or experience in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
- Minimum of 7-9 years direct in Logistics or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with CBP ITI2 CTLF policies and vision
- Oversees CTLF operations, including 24×7 operations support.
- Work with the technical team to facilitate CTLF testing activities, and multiple-lane POV simulation. Provide solutions that resolve problems and improve the operational functionality at the lab as well as support overall ITI2 innovation solutions.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Prepare annual CTLF budget
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
- Plan work scheduling, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
- Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.)
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
