Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 4-5 years of experience in financial services in data product management or a technical track
  • Solid understanding of data engineering, and application development

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development lifecycle, from conception to launch, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to industry best practices
  • Partner with business teams to formalize and execute annual roadmaps factoring data needs and commercial goals
  • Extend guidance to engineers on prioritizing backlog and timely resolution of critical issues
  • Support cataloging, quality and governance initiatives for discovery and consumption of data
  • Deliver impactful presentations that succinctly convey complex concepts and project updates to team members, stakeholders, and executive leadership
  • Effectively navigate the organizational structure, cultivating relationships and utilizing networks to ensure the success of projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with project management software like Jira/Azure DevOps as well as collaboration and communication tools
  • Experience with data engineering practices, including data pipeline design, ETL processes, and real-time data processing is highly desirable
  • Experience with tech and processes for trading and/or back office operations is a plus
  • Familiarity with API integrations, cloud computing platforms and large-scale data storage solutions is highly desirable
  • Work experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, SQL, data frameworks like Hadoop and data visualization tools such as Power BI is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Aladdin and/or tech stack for separate managed accounts is a plus
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSPO, or equivalent desirable
