Requirements
- 15+ years procurement experience within and/or with federal agencies such as the Department of Defense and/or Department of Energy
- Familiarity with alternative energy solutions for large-scale facilities is a plus
- Expertise in federal procurement process and regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field
- MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
- Frequent travel may be required for in-person meetings with strategic federal customers
Responsibilities
- Develop sales strategy for driving business within the federal government
- Serve as Bloom’s lead commercial contact across relevant Federal agencies
- Educate government agencies on Bloom’s solutions and demonstrate how these align with the strategic energy priorities of the Department of Defense and other relevant departments
- Ensure compliance with regulations, and manage relationships at the highest senior levels of government
- Navigate the federal procurement process both externally and internally
- Drive proposal and contracting process and negotiation from end to end
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with alternative energy solutions for large-scale facilities is a plus
- MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
