Requirements
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in Banking, Financial Services
- Bachelor’s degree required; Masters is a plus
- Experience working as a product manager or product owner, in an Agile environment, collaborating with technology to understand stakeholder needs and translate into business requirements and features
- Experience in leading the design, development and management of automated solutions that address user pain points, enable self-service and drive efficiency
- Experience with data retention and remediation principles, data privacy regulations (ex. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Office of Privacy Commissioner for Canada (PIPEDA), etc.)
- Ability to manage through ambiguity by making sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
- Communicates effectively: develops and delivers clear communication both written and verbal, tailored to the needs of different audiences
- Experience leveraging glossary, lineage and data quality tools to drive governance
- Collaborative – Possess strong collaboration and influencing skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams to drive deliverables, projects and engagements to completion
Responsibilities
- Engage and coordinate with key stakeholders, including Record Management Officers (RMOs), Data Owners, Data Stewards, Technical Developers, Enterprise Data Teams, and the Services Data Team
- Support efforts to implement systematic controls and intuitive workflows to track and enforce Records Management across the Services Data Ecosystem
- Create and maintain a product vision aligned to business priorities, key user needs, and organizational OKRs
- Act as product owner / manager for Records Management work to satisfy enterprise policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with data stakeholders and other business areas to capture requirements for Records Management use cases
- Work with Product and Technology to find innovative ways to integrate Records Management controls into Services’ self-service technologies
- Own and prioritize the near to -term Records Management roadmap to deliver on business outcomes, working closely with a cross-functional team to ensure that all the right resources are aligned
- Partner with functions, lines of business and regions to define the prioritized scope for completing Records Management outstanding items
- Develop short to medium term plans to execute functional Records Management strategies
- Continually, succinctly, and clearly communicate progress and results against the Records Management agenda to stakeholders across the organization
