Requirements
- 3+ years of experience effectively managing a sales team in the payment acquisition industry
- Experience building a successful team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship building and presentation skills
- Strong work ethic with a drive to excel
- PC proficient with Microsoft Office Suite experience
Responsibilities
- Build, manage and lead a direct sales division
- Achieve and surpass team sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Heavily and consistently recruit to build and continue to expand territory
- Drive team to exceed the sales plan on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Optimize the team by maximizing the performance of current team members while simultaneously recruiting high-performing new team members
- Provide succinct, insightful reporting to management; accurately forecast future sales; forward proactive recommendations to address key issues or concerns
- Solicit and manage key partner relationships (associations, VARs, other)
- Ensure professionalism of team members in communications, attendance of training sessions and use of social media tools
- Market additional Clearent by Xplor products and services as they are introduced under company guidelines
- Learn and understand all hardware, software, and reporting offered by Clearent and effectively communicate this information to prospects, clients, and Account Executives
- Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of Clearent’s programs (Compass, gateway, etc.) and provide consistent reinforcement of the Clearent selling system to direct reports
