Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience in a commercial role within a subscription business; experience working in media or publishing sectors is a plus
- Experience building subscription businesses
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams, with a proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and results
- Experience using data effectively to make decisions
- Ability to look ahead to understand how market trends will impact the business and pivot accordingly

Responsibilities
- Manage a team to deliver on subscription, revenue, lead generation, customer engagement, and other goals
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise Subscription sales leadership on the goals, strategies, and plans required to deliver on fiscal year revenue and subscription targets
- Articulate the annual/quarterly strategies that ladder up to overall goals and ensure teams are delivering on their goals
- Provide strategic direction to the Enterprise marketing team to ensure each area understands their contribution to the overall goals and strategy and can build plans to meet goals
- Provide holistic marketing plans across all areas in the Enterprise Subscriptions marketing team – lead generation / sales enablement, engagement, and product propositions, ensuring on time and on budget delivery of the plans
- Help define audience segments and use customer insights to drive growth
- Serve as a champion for the customer across the company
- Communicate key opportunities, business risks, and mitigation plans to leadership teams across the organization
- Report on business performance through quarterly business reviews and senior leadership updates in conjunction with Enterprise Subscription sales leadership
- Partner with finance, product, marketing, insight, and editorial leads to ensure all teams are aligned to and working toward strategic goals
- Work closely with data and insight to find opportunities and build business cases that will accelerate subscriber and revenue growth
- Understand the competitive landscape to identify market opportunities and risks
