Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Meteorology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales management or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in B2B SaaS and DaaS sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong knowledge of sales processes, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closure.
- Familiarity with weather and climate solutions, including their applications in industries such as commodity trading, hedging, energy, utilities, and logistics.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics platforms.
- Analytical mindset with experience in metric reporting and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and collective sales goals. Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to ensure team success.
- Actively participate in the sales process by closing high-value deals, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with clients in commodity trading, hedging, energy, utilities, and logistics industries.
- Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics to management. Deliver regular updates on team performance, pipeline health, and revenue forecasts to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals and capitalize on market opportunities in the commodity trading, hedging, energy, utilities, and logistics industries.
- Understand client needs and position our SaaS and DaaS weather solutions as critical tools for their success, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Continuously refine and improve sales processes to increase efficiency, shorten sales cycles, and maximize conversion rates.
