Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience, with 4+ years in Global Custody experience
- Ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Problem solving, project management, analytical skills
- Experience of guiding / supporting junior team members
- MS Office experience
Responsibilities
- Apply in-depth knowledge of custody services, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow
- Assist with the daily administration and servicing of the Custody Product to Private Bank clients nationwide
- Act as a source of technical expertise within the team, keeping abreast of developments and offering support and guidance
- Support team members and team leader with handling all custody related aspects of CPB relationship, provide support and guidance to junior members of the team
- Deal with complex issues and challenges as they arise
- Ability to work well with other CPB product partners in meeting client expectations
- Resolve client inquiries and issues on a timely basis and as accurately as possible, provide solutions to escalations
- Direct contact with clients and their attorneys, accountants, third party vendors, representatives, pertaining to requisition payments, call back, etc.
- Interaction with Private Bankers, Banker Associates, Service Officers, and other internal constituents as necessary
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory policies and requirements of the Private Bank
- Resolve client inquiries and issues on a timely basis and as accurately as possible through effective and efficient use of Private Bank resource
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
