Requirements
- Proven track record leading business development, partnerships, or corporate strategy at the VP or equivalent level
- Deep expertise in the economics of subscription and DTC platforms, including advanced understanding of subscriber LTV, CAC, retention, and platform monetization
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills to assess partnership value and strategic fit
- Exceptional executive presence with experience briefing C-level stakeholders and boards
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and drive alignment across complex organizations
- Experience negotiating and executing high-impact, multi-stakeholder deals
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a strong sense of ownership
Responsibilities
- Identify, pitch, and close new partnership opportunities with a wide range of partners—including OEMs, telcos, and content providers
- Evaluate content performance and viewer engagement metrics to inform licensing priorities and renewals
- Develop and manage strategic content partnerships that align with growth, retention, and brand goals
- Own and manage key partner relationships, serving as a primary point of contact and advocate throughout the partnership lifecycle
- Leverage your knowledge of industry verticals and relationships with key players to support adoption of new platforms and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, analytics) to launch and optimize growth and retention initiatives across partner channels
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities and inform partner strategy
- Monitor partner performance and surface insights to inform strategic decisions and new initiatives
- Negotiate partnership terms and manage execution timelines to ensure program success
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and partnership innovations to influence strategy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading global expansion, M&A, or strategic investments in the media or tech sector
- Prior experience launching or scaling DTC services internationally
- Familiarity with navigating public-company governance or highly matrixed orgs
- Background in corporate development, strategy, or management consulting
