Requirements
- Two-year administrative, clerical, or customer service experience required
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and occasional holidays in support of department and customer needs required
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) required
- Ability to learn new software programs quickly
- Proven ability to multi-task
- Ability to acquire and maintain a SECRET clearance required
Responsibilities
- Professionally administer all incoming calls to Visitor Control
- Greet guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner and register in visitor logs and databases
- Prepare visitor information packages for Visitor Control Specialist review and approval
- Create/Activate/Re-activate access badges
- Utilize various software programs for data entry and badge creation
- Create accurate memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Scan and electronically file documents; Maintain all files in an orderly manner
- Perform clerical and administrative support duties as needed
- Issue Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
- Promotes workplace safety by keeping work areas clean and free of obstructions
