Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 15+ years of engineering experience
- 10+ years of management experience
- At least 2+ years of managing a global team of 100+ employees
- Experience leading the design and deployment of high-availability, high-throughput platforms in complex cloud environments
- Experience building global loyalty, membership, or rewards programs at scale
- Skilled in building and scaling high-performing global teams who can be hands-on technical when needed
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the end-to-end loyalty technology and platform strategy across Expedia Group’s global brand portfolio
- Lead the design, development, and modernization of scalable, cloud-native systems that enable real-time personalization and seamless loyalty integration
- Ensure operational excellence across performance, availability, security, and reliability
- Partner with Data Science, Product, and Marketing to build intelligent, insights-driven engagement systems
- Build, inspire, and scale a world-class engineering organization focused on innovation, accountability, and inclusion
- Hire, develop, and retain top-tier talent while building strong succession plans
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and high performance across time zones and functions
- Operate with deep business and customer acumen, translating strategy into action that drives measurable results
- Act as a key decision-maker in balancing competing priorities across functions, brands, and regions
- Drive alignment and delivery across a matrixed organization, engaging executive stakeholders and championing shared success
- Serve as a key member of the Membership & Engagement Leadership Team, contributing to company-wide strategy and leadership
