Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
- 10+ years of human resources experience, including 5 years in management.
- Extensive expertise in talent acquisition, including a deep understanding of recruitment strategies, recruitment marketing, candidate sourcing, and talent pipeline development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations that influence human resources, as well as related implications.
- Resiliency and flexibility to deal with a rapidly changing and stressful environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring, coaching, training, and holding others accountable.
- Expertise in leading projects which include planning the life cycle of the project and identifying key project activities.
- Proven ability to develop sound proposals and successfully implement programs.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment.
- Proven ability to meet multiple deadlines, prioritize multiple demands, and identify/solve problems creatively.
- Demonstrated ability to work and function in a complex corporate system environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites or similar products as well as applicable human capital management/applicant tracking software.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the creation and execution of strategies to build strong talent pipelines for positions across various job families, including staff, executive, clinician, and faculty roles.
- Guides enterprise talent acquisition programs, such as university and early career recruitment initiatives.
- Leads recruitment marketing efforts to promote Advocate Health careers and attract potential candidates, both internal and external.
- Ensures strategic sourcing efforts are developed to identify and attract internal and external talent.
- Leverages technology and tools to streamline processes and improve candidate experience.
- Leads the development of innovative programs to recruit talent from non-traditional sources.
- Tracks and analyzes the effectiveness of strategies and make continuous improvements.
- Inspires and leads the team, developing competencies around technology, compliance with state and other regulations, and exceptional candidate experience.
- Proactively seeks opportunities to implement innovative and creative methods to enhance candidate experience and streamline job promotion and sourcing processes.
