Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
  • 10+ years of human resources experience, including 5 years in management.
  • Extensive expertise in talent acquisition, including a deep understanding of recruitment strategies, recruitment marketing, candidate sourcing, and talent pipeline development.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations that influence human resources, as well as related implications.
  • Resiliency and flexibility to deal with a rapidly changing and stressful environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring, coaching, training, and holding others accountable.
  • Expertise in leading projects which include planning the life cycle of the project and identifying key project activities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the creation and execution of strategies to build strong talent pipelines for positions across various job families, including staff, executive, clinician, and faculty roles.
  • Guides enterprise talent acquisition programs, such as university and early career recruitment initiatives.
  • Leads recruitment marketing efforts to promote Advocate Health careers and attract potential candidates, both internal and external.
  • Ensures strategic sourcing efforts are developed to identify and attract internal and external talent.
  • Leverages technology and tools to streamline processes and improve candidate experience.
  • Leads the development of innovative programs to recruit talent from non-traditional sources.
  • Tracks and analyzes the effectiveness of strategies and make continuous improvements.
  • Inspires and leads the team, developing competencies around technology, compliance with state and other regulations, and exceptional candidate experience.
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to implement innovative and creative methods to enhance candidate experience and streamline job promotion and sourcing processes.
