Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an accredited United States law school
- License to practice in Massachusetts or another state of the United States
- At least 2-4 years’ experience in the corporate department of a major law firm
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and technical legal analysis skills
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively across multiple levels and functional areas within a large organization
Responsibilities
- Delivering practical, actionable legal guidance to internal stakeholders
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating asset servicing agreements, disclosures and client communications
- Advising business partners on legal and regulatory matters to support strategic changes to State Street’s business model, including new products and services
- Analyzing on claims, errors and potential litigation
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred
