Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in life insurance industry, specifically with a primary focus on corporate and business solutions (COLI, BOLI, NQDC, etc.)
  • Broad knowledge of COLI and other corporate insurance products as well carrier and third party turnkey offerings.
  • Understanding of how COLI and other life products can be designed, implemented and administered to meet the needs of the firms and their corporate and business clients.
  • Highly responsive and proactive with field sales teams and firms.
  • Enjoys working with internal team members as well as producers and their team members.
  • Competitive spirit and fire in the belly to help the company drive growth.
  • Willing to take initiative, exhibit creative thinking and take ownership of managing/driving a business unit – a self-starter attitude and strong desire to drive exceptional results.

Responsibilities

  • Establish clear business and marketing plan for how to position the corporate and business solutions value proposition in the marketplace and to our national network of Firms and financial professionals
  • Drive sales of corporate and business insurance solutions & products through proactive marketing across Lion Street’s national network of Firms and financial professionals.
  • Position Lion Street Firms specializing in executive benefits, corporate insurance products, or specialty markets for collaborating with other Firms that have access to clients and need additional expertise at the point of sale, case design, enrollment, or administration.
  • Develop partnership agreements, marketing plans, and unique programs or resources with life insurance companies offering products and sales support in the corporate and business insurance markets.
  • Track and measure sales and financial results from carriers & Lion Street Firms in agreed upon target markets and product lines.
  • Present latest sales concepts and trends to Lion Street professionals on webinars and/or at meetings
