Requirements
- Experience with alternative credit products, leveraged loans, CLOs, direct lending, distressed debt or high yield investment markets.
- Strong aptitude for quantitative finance, statistics, probabilistic risk and associated concepts and believe in the key role technology can play in helping asset managers outperform.
- Software product leadership experience.
- Comfortable making and defending decisions with a bias for action even under conditions of uncertainty.
- Confident and effective communicator.
- CFA or commitment to study toward completing a CFA a plus.
- Intellectually curious and model a culture of continuous learning, mentoring and coaching.
- A track record of contributing to high-performing, agile teams.
Responsibilities
- Guide a team of analysts and software engineers in the development of internal portfolio management systems.
- Focus on supporting CLO management and Structured products investment teams.
- Act as the product owner and end-to-end gatekeeper of the mission and strategy.
- Prioritize the product feature backlog to deliver value to the investment team.
- Enable team members to innovate and experiment while balancing the risk and reward of those efforts.
