Requirements
- Comfortable in all aspects of veterinary patient care, from basic patient restraint to advanced anesthesia and surgical cases
- Ability to translate management’s vision into clear, concise actions that support management perspectives
- Strong leadership qualities to act as a role model and ‘go to person’ for technical issues
- Ability to guide technician staff to meet performance standards
- Experience in managing personnel in the technician work group
Responsibilities
- Divide time between on-the-floor technician duties and leadership role
- Identify training needs and make inventory adjustments
- Manage personnel in the technician work group
- Provide excellent medical care and customer service
- Act as a role model and ‘go to person’ for resolving technical issues

- Experience in surgical and dental assistance
- Experience in pharmacy
- Experience in laboratory
