Requirements
- Significant experience creating successful videos for TikTok
- Proficiency in mobile-first editing applications, such as CapCut and Kapwing
- Deep knowledge of platform trends and viral formats
- Experience directing on-camera talent
- The ability to work quickly and efficiently in high-pressure situations
- The ability to collaborate respectfully and effectively with others
- The desire to create informative and persuasive videos that inspire viewers to support Democratic candidates and causes
Responsibilities
- Create multiple high-performing vertical videos each week for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
- Independently oversee the production of vertical videos from ideation to publishing
- Draft DTCs and explainer video scripts for principals
- Keep up with platform trends and constantly come up with new, high-potential ideas
- Cover events, such as rallies and town halls
- Establish effective ways to use footage from live streams, press conferences, and events, as well as news coverage, to create high-performing videos
- Help grow DNC accounts on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
