Requirements
- Associate’s or Vocational degree from an accredited professional health care program
- 3 to 5 years performing vascular ultrasound
- Certified Ultrasound Technician – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography required upon hire
- Registered Vascular Technologist – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography required upon hire
- BLS Tier 1 – Basic Life Support – Multisource required upon hire
- Maintains fleet driver requirements and valid driver’s license if working in MHI Mobile Department
Responsibilities
- Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines
- Performs procedures with high degree of accuracy
- Complies with other position requirements
- Mentors students and orients new staff
- Provides assistance, ideas and information to support the work of others
- Other duties as assigned
