Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • 2–6 years of experience in water, gas, or electric utility projects
  • Familiarity with municipal permitting processes and basic project management principles
  • Strong communication skills, especially in client and municipal coordination
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Boardman, OH area (local/regional travel required)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support utility infrastructure projects involving water and gas line replacements, upgrades, and new development support
  • Coordinate and manage the permitting process and municipal procedures
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, municipalities, and internal teams to ensure project continuity
  • Conduct site visits within the region (local travel only) to monitor project progress
  • Collaborate with design teams and review engineering packages (AutoCAD familiarity preferred)
  • Track project timelines, budgets, and client expectations
  • Support basic capital improvement projects related to new housing and commercial developments

Preferred Qualifications

  • AutoCAD experience preferred (not a heavy design role)
