Requirements
- Ability to operate building system via BAS and FAS
- Understanding of electrical troubleshooting and repair
- 4 years of experience in facility/plant engineering maintenance
- Experience as a journeyman level engineer with strong skills related to building automation systems, life safety systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Must be proficient in basic computer application software such as MS Office, Lotus and E-Mail etc.
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills are required
Responsibilities
- Demonstrating the proper use and care of tools and instruments in basic maintenance, safety, and troubleshooting procedures
- Performing and/or delegating preventative maintenance tasks to the appropriately qualified maintenance staff member
- Completing monthly assigned safety training
- Repair, maintenance and installation of new equipment and facilities, maintain inventory
- Complying with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
- Ensuring the availability of an adequate operating inventory of tools and supplies
- Preparing and submitting performing periodic checks for supplies
- All other duties and tasks assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Boilers license preferred
- Universal HVAC License
