Requirements
- Knowledge of underwriting processes for multiple lines of insurance coverages, including property, casualty, workers compensation, excess lines, and automobile coverages
- Ability to gather and analyze account information
- Ability to interpret and translate data into rating and issuance instructions
- Knowledge of federal and state compliance and regulatory rules
- Ability to comply with corporate pricing strategies
Responsibilities
- Support the underwriting process for new and renewal customers
- Collaborate with team members to achieve growth, profit, renewal retention, service, and producer/client management goals
- Gather and analyze account information
- Assist with binding/issuance of new and renewal business
- Document the file appropriately
