Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the insurance business, with 3+ years of experience in the Wholesale Excess Casualty space.
- Bachelor’s college degree with 4 experience in the insurance industry.
- Excellent negotiation skills and strategies.
- Strong computer skills and ability to use necessary proprietary software/tools.
- Ability to multitask and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously.

- Responsibility for the profitable development of the Wholesale Excess Casualty portfolio.
- Execute strategy with a focus on the management of risk while driving business growth and achieving profit objectives.
- Maximizing business value through portfolio optimization, operational efficiency, and risk selection.
- Help creating a work environment that fosters teamwork, innovation, and cooperation.
- Finding ways to leverage technology within the Underwriting process to improve efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Wholesale Excess Casualty expert with extensive Underwriting experience in the South East marketplace.
- Demonstrated ability to generate profitable new business and proven record of delivering meaningful underwriting profit.
- Proven people and skills, team player.
- Highly collaborative and able to work effectively with peers.
- Strong technical background, problem solving analytical skills, and ability to connect data analytics with strategic deliverables to drive underwriting strategy.
