Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6 years’ working in higher education setting
- Experience managing and overseeing student programs and events
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated public speaking skills
- Ability to work with faculty, staff, students, and external organizations
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities
- Oversees and manages Fisher academic records and graduation requirements for Fisher 10,000+ undergraduate students
- Degree certification process for undergraduate business students
- Student record audits for completion of degree requirements
- Communications related to graduation applications and requirements
- Monitoring academic records activity workflow between Undergraduate Programs (UGP) staff
- Maintains and continually builds upon expertise in Fisher academic program requirements
- Ensures complete and accurate auditing of student records
- Prepare reports for Undergraduate Programs and College leadership
- Partners with multiple university departments regarding commencement records and activities
- Reviews and approves graduation applications and communicates with students regarding their status
- Works with 26+ Fisher academic advisors to resolve issues related to degree requirement completion
- Independently make decisions regarding degree requirements within tight deadlines
- Collaborates with Fisher academic departments to ensure timely posting of final grades
- Serves as Fisher expert on Buckeye Degree Planner (BDP) Stellic system
- Oversees degree exceptions and ensures exception data accuracy
- Trains staff on BDP and system updates
- Collaborates with other colleges on benchmarking data and best practices
- Supports Fisher scholarships program as part of the Undergraduate Programs retention and graduation rate strategy
- Creates and implements efficient and effective processes for records management, degree audit review, and degree certification
- Serves on university level committees, work groups, and other ad hoc responsibilities as Fisher representative
- Manages commencement communications, updates, and processes for UGP, Fisher faculty and staff, and Fisher academic departments
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- 8-12 years’ experience in higher education setting or equivalent experience
- Broad knowledge of university policies and procedures
- Detailed knowledge of Fisher policies and business degree requirements
- Able to perform basic and advanced transactions in student records systems, including Peoplesoft (SIS) and Stellic (Buckeye Degree Planner)
