Requirements
- Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
- 3-5 years’ clinical experience Ultrasound staff sonographer level preferred.
- Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Must be registered in at least one (ABD or OB/GYN) at time of hire.
- Additional registry within 1 year from hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association and/or the American Red Cross.
Responsibilities
- Assigns and monitors the work of the Ultra sonographers to optimize quality and efficiency.
- Acts as a resource for ultrasound staff/department.
- Performs diagnostic ultrasounds and other related duties to ensure department policies and imaging standards are met.
- Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ clinical experience Ultrasound staff sonographer level preferred.
