Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical or computer engineering, electrical engineering technology or computer engineering technology with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience in a test or hardware electronics development.
  • Ability to troubleshoot PCBAs down to the component level.
  • Demonstrated use, selection, and application of RF test equipment in high frequency through microwave frequency bands.
  • Ability to interpret complex parametric data sets and results.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot a variety of RF and/or digital PCBAs, subassemblies and end products.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and produce optimal product test solutions.
  • Work closely with the hardware, manufacturing and test engineering team to establish sound measurement science fundamentals on all subassemblies, circuit boards, final assemblies, and OEM systems.
  • Co-Develop test fixture platforms for manufacturing product lines, including circuit boards and finished goods.
  • Qualify product parametric performance with electrical test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Signal Analyzers, RF Power Meters, Network Analyzers, and other electronic test equipment.
  • Provide design feedback and solutions to product design teams.
  • Drives product and product test issues to closure with resolution.
  • Provide hardware test support for ECO’s, ECR’s, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and critical production line issues.
  • Provide Lifecycle Engineering Support of all Mastodon Production Products.
  • Exercise critical problem-solving skills and be able to work on a team and independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • FPGA programming, JTAG in Systems Programmers, Schematic Design and Layout
  • Hardware Electronics test experience
  • RF Amplifier hardware experience
  • Project leadership skills with a multi-functional team.
  • Packaging and electronics material handling experience
  • Experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment
