Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Certifications such as CTP, MBA, CFA, or comparable experience are highly preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in relevant financial environments, such as consulting, investment banking, accounting, or corporate finance.
  • Demonstrated strong financial capabilities, specifically showcasing advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of core treasury functions, including verifiable experience in capital markets, investment management, and foreign exchange.
  • Evidence of a ‘take ownership’ mentality and a proven ability to excel both independently and collaboratively.
  • Examples of meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in your work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of debt issuance, manage lender relationships, ensure covenant reporting, monitor debt obligations, and precisely forecast interest expenses.
  • Proactively identify and assess financial risks such as foreign exchange fluctuations, liquidity shortfalls, and interest rate volatility. Develop and implement robust strategies to mitigate these risks and protect Qualtrics’ financial assets, serving as the in-house FX expert for various stakeholders.
  • Oversee and execute investment activities with the dual goal of maximizing returns and maintaining an acceptable level of risk. This includes continuous monitoring of investment performance and making data-driven recommendations for portfolio adjustments.
  • Collaborate closely with Tax, Accounting, and FP&A teams to identify, design, and implement process improvements that enhance overall financial efficiency.
  • Develop sophisticated financial models to evaluate key treasury decisions, analyzing their potential impact on liquidity, capital structure, and hedging strategies.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our banking partners and other external stakeholders involved in capital markets, including rating agencies.
  • Stay ahead of financial industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Proactively identify and lead initiatives to continuously enhance treasury operations, financial efficiency, and overall effectiveness.
  • Serve as the primary backup for all essential cash operations activities, ensuring seamless continuity.
