Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Current Florida driver’s license class E or obtain within 6 months
- American Heart Association BLS Certification for Health Care Providers
- Ability to solve problems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment
Responsibilities
- Assist members of the health care team in the transporting and well-being of patients by performing specific tasks as directed by patient caregivers
- Demonstrating high quality competency to assist staff with transporting of patients to and from various medical departments and service lines in a safe and compassionate manner
- Assists in maintaining and adjusting schedules to meet the needs of the department
- Performs other duties as assigned
