Transportation Specialist – Floating Locations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean driving record, with exceptional driving skills and knowledge of safe driving practices and preferably one year of driving experience, ideally in a transportation or customer service role.
• Current or attainable First Aid and CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with members and team members.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different team environments and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Familiarity with serving diverse populations and working in healthcare or recovery settings.
• Needs to be able to work the day and evening shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport members to and from clinics, mobile units, and other approved locations.
• Assist members with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and clinic policies to maintain a safe and timely transportation schedule.
• Greet members warmly and treat them with respect, compassion, and dignity throughout their journey.
• Address member inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, creating a positive experience.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless member care.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any issues promptly to maintain safety.
• Maintain accurate transportation records, including mileage, routes, and member logs.
• Support clinic operations as needed, including assisting with deliveries or other tasks.
• Support the mission with all other duties as assigned!

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferably one year of driving experience, ideally in a transportation or customer service role.
