Requirements

  • 2 years’ Supply Chain / Logistics / DC Operations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for deliveries from pick up at a domestic location through receipt into the ship centers including systemically put away.
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly pallet delivery forecast.
  • Responsible for collaborating with DCs, Accounts Payable and merchants to resolve OS&D issues.
  • Holding vendors and carrier accountable to the routing guide and ensure all charge backs have been implemented, follow up with payment status.
  • Work with carriers to logically schedule inbound volume, prioritizing hot freight, while smoothing flow and mitigating costs.
  • Monitor aging cargo / shipments approaching last free day’ emails and forward to appropriate trucking group.
  • Update TMS with upcoming shipping volume, by DC, including POs, carton totals by PO, trailer, and shipment.
  • Monitor TMS daily, routing and tracking freight.
  • Maintain carrier and vendor KPIs.
  • Monitor TMS daily, work with carriers, ship centers, to ensure empty trailers are moved to outbound pools.
  • Moderate weekly calls with each DC, Carrier, Supply Chain to review upcoming volume, domestic transportation network, upcoming holiday closures, discuss equipment and driver availability, DC labor, additional support needed.
  • Support a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented environment with a cross-functional team.
  • Notify buying teams of delays in shipments, Pos, and RTS dates.
  • Strong focus on process improvement.
