Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or industry experience
- 3 plus years of experience; mechanical experience preferred
- Standard computer skills required; SAP experience preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Specialized knowledge of truck and trailer mechanical systems
Responsibilities
- Scheduling and executing preventive maintenance for the fleet
- Communicate and document driver write-ups
- Coordinate repair over the road breakdowns and wrecks Financial responsibility for specific terminal maintenance cost
- Conduct quarterly meetings with terminal managers outlining major opportunities for improvement
- Engage in daily communication with vendors, drivers, shops, and operations team to effectively maintain equipment to optimum performance
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Mechanical experience preferred
- SAP experience preferred
