Requirements
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, or other related engineering discipline with focus on TEM research is required.
- 3 or more years of experience with automation of the state-of-the-art Thermo Fisher Scientific (TEMs) is required.
- The candidate should be fluent in Python and have solid background in data science, machine learning, computer vision and statistical data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with FIB lamella preparation and automation is a plus.
- The applicant must demonstrate superior oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the desire to work in a team environment are essential.
Responsibilities
- Design and integrate autonomous control algorithms.
- Develop interactive software applications for automating high-end TEMs.
- Develop efficient data management and infrastructure tools to improve turnaround time.
- Work closely with other team members to plan experiments and develop software tools to meet advanced analysis requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with FIB lamella preparation and automation is a plus.
