Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Two or more years of related experience within a healthcare setting
- BLS and CPR certified
- Proficient in Microsoft office with exposure to some data management software
- Experience with operating a medical/mechanical device
- Strong communication skills and detailed oriented
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
- Demonstrates awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience in working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other various aspects of culture
Responsibilities
- Follows standard assessment protocols for procedures
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for individual patient care judgments and actions
- Performs procedures according to established standards
- Maintains competency in TMS
- Documents patient responses specific to the procedure provided
- Attends treatment care conferences to assist with the discussion and planning of patient care
- Provides for the care, welfare, safety and security of the patient
- Participates in, and follows all scheduling guidelines, taking into account staffing needs of the center to ensure delivery of high quality patient care
- Assists with the development and interpretation of departmental and institutional policies and procedures
- Provides services with respect for human dignity and uniqueness, unrestricted by considerations of social or economic status, personal attributes or the nature of the health problems
- Assures that an ethical framework has been used when making decisions for or acting on behalf of the patients
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant certification preferred
